CGH Main Clinic and Outlying Clinics

  • All non-emergent appointments, well visits, etc will be rescheduled. Patients will be contacted.
  • Upon arrival, you may be screened. This screening includes taking your temperature, as well as asking you about any symptoms you may be having, including sore throat, cough or trouble breathing.
  • All outlying clinics will remain open for acute visits ONLY (illness, rash, sprains, UTIs, etc.). If you have any symptoms of respiratory illness, cough or fever, PLEASE CALL BEFORE COMING IN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. Following a series of questions, please follow your healthcare provider’s instructions.

If you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19 or other respiratory illness and wonder if you should be tested or be seen, STAY HOME and call your provider’s office or CGH Ready Care. Do NOT go to the Emergency Room. Do NOT go to Ready Care. Do NOT go to the doctor’s office.

Because co-infection with influenza has been rare, the CDC will not allow us to test patients for COVID-19 at this time if they have not first been screened for symptoms of - and tested negative for - the flu.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. For general questions about COVID-19, call the IDPH hotline at 1-800-889-3931 or email dph.sick@illinois.gov. Visit www.cghmc.com/covid19 for additional resources. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
