Sonia is our EVS General. Each evening she arrives with a smile and a “can do” attitude. We truly admire her ability to deal with difficult, time sensitive situations. Sonia may receive 5 pages in 5 minutes - she determines the priority, assigns staff to tackle each task, then follows up to make sure everything is completed to her standards.
Sonia is an excellent trainer. She has the patience of a teacher, as she details each step and relays the importance of all we do in infection control. Sonia has stated that she cannot leave at the end of her shift if she feels she missed something. Sonia believes strongly in her work and that motivates her teammates and makes CGH safer for all.
