Indy Car Driver Charlie Kimball comes to Sterling

CGH Medical Center and Novo Nordisk are proud to welcome the Chip Ganassi racer, Charlie Kimball, to share his diabetes story at the CGH Health Foundation's upcoming health and wellness event on Tuesday, July 21st.
Kimball is the first diabetic Indy Car driver to qualify and start for the famed Indianapolis 500. Now in his fourth IndyCar season, Kimball, driver of the No. 83 Chevrolet, is the first and only licensed driver with diabetes in the history of Indy Car to win a race. He also recently placed an amazing third at the May 24 Indy 500.
Join Kimball and CGH on July 21 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Westwood Sports Complex. This free educational health program is part of the CGH Health Foundation Growing Healthier series. The event features local race car drivers, cars on display, and giveaways; a health and fitness fair with kid's activities and motivational speaker Charlie Kimball at 6:30 p.m.
