“Purpose, Worthwhile Work, Making a Difference”
Connie goes above and beyond for her patients and co-workers. She recently had a pediatric IV patient that needed an evening (on-call) visit. She was not the on-call nurse but did the visit because “the little guy is used to me and will handle it better.” On another occasion, she had a patient and neighbor who required dressing changes at home but no longer qualified for Medicare. Connie kept going on her own time until the wound healed. These are just two examples of the many times she has gone above and beyond in over 16 years at CGH Home Nursing. She is always there for her patients, supportive of her peers, and really shows exceptional customer service every day.
