Earlier this week CGH Medical Center relaunched the CGH Milledgeville Medical Center. The clinic is now staffed full-time by Lynne Coffey, FNP, and offers expanded hours and same-day appointments. Located at 601 E. Old Mill Street, the clinic is one of 16 clinics in the rural CGH service area providing quality care to our outlying communities.

“We are very excited to be expanding our Milledgeville hours and services by adding a full-time, outstanding nurse practitioner to care for this community,” said Dr. Paul Steinke, President and CEO. “Lynne will be available full-time for new patients, same-day appointments, minor illnesses and injuries, and sports physicals.”

Lynne is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her MSN as a family nurse practitioner and her BSN in nursing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. In addition, Lynne is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

On Wednesday, November 18th we will be hosting a grand reopening and open house for the clinic from 4 to 6 p.m. Employees and members of the public are invited to enjoy refreshments while touring the facility that features local photography. In addition, it is a great opportunity to meet Lynne as well as her staff of Paula Beveroth, RN and Emily Miller, Receptionist.

In addition to the remodeling and new staff, the clinic also has newly expanded hours. The new hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
