CGH Medical Center often says it is "growing healthier communities all around us." That saying reaches beyond the health of the people in their communities, and now includes the health of a computer network in the Polo schools. CGH has been a consistent and long-time supporter of non-profit organizations and schools in their service area, which spans over five counties.

The Information Technology department at CGH Medical Center donated two computer servers and eighteen network switches to the Polo Elementary School on October 19, 2016. This donation saved the school around $3,000.

"We are very grateful to CGH for this donation," said Daniel Baker, Technology Coordinator at Polo CUSD 222. "The new servers will provide the school with a faster, more reliable and more secure network."

Servers allow people to share data, resources, and distribute work across a computer network. Network switches connect devices together on that network.
