CGH Health Foundation Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser is May 10

On Friday, May 10 the public is welcome to check out the Bake Sale and Dessert Auction sponsored by the CGH Health Foundation Employee Division Committee. Over 80 bakers will be sharing their culinary delights for this event. Get there early for the best selection!

The event is open to the public and features a basket silent auction from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the CGH Ryberg Auditorium, Classroom 1 and Classroom 2. Bidding on the baskets will cease at 3:30 p.m.

“There’s something for everyone, with so many themes represented this year,” said Lindsey Fiorini and Geoff Wright, CGH Employee Division co-chairs, “whether it’s for a baby shower, graduation, Mother’s Day or Memorial Day – we’ve got it.”

There will be raffle tickets sold for a 4-pack of tickets to the Chicago Cubs home game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, July 14 at 1 p.m. Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each. To purchase tickets, please call the CGH Health Foundation office at 815/625-0400 x 5575. The drawing will be held on Friday, May 31.

50/50 raffle tickets will also be available for purchase. The tickets are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. The winner will be drawn at 1 pm on Friday, May 10. You need not be present to win.

Co-chairs for the CGH Employee Division Committee include Geoff Wright and Lindsey Fiorini. Silent Auction Co-Chairs are Mimi Hicks and Beth Warner.

All proceeds from these events will go towards the 2019 CGH Health Foundation Annual Appeal. The new project featured this year is to provide state of the art equipment for CGH Pediatric Rehab. Items will include an immersive sensory integration room, a dynamic full-color interactive projector/motion capture system, an interactive light wall and an unweighing system biodex gait trainer.

The CGH Health Foundation has spent 32 years helping adults and children in the Sauk Valley lead healthier lives. With your help, all other CGH Health Foundation projects can be funded, including Pediatric Mental Health, Eyeglasses for Kids/Adults, Prescott Dental Clinic, Nutrition & Fitness, Love on a Leash, Cancer Comfort Care, Women’s Health, Scholarships, Medication Assistance, Transportation Assistance, Ways to Wellness, Cardiac Wellness, Workplace Wellness, Diabetes Education and Community Health Network.
