CGH Cardiologist Rajan Gopal, MD retires after 34 years
STERLING, IL (April 25, 2018) – After 34 years of service, Rajan Gopal, MD, CGH Cardiologist will retire on May 4, 2018. Dr. Gopal moved to the Sterling and Rock Falls area in 1984, shortly after finishing Residency and Cardiology fellowship in Chicago. He has been working at CGH Medical Center ever since.
“I feel blessed to have lived in this area,” said Dr. Gopal, “and bring up our children along with my wife, Dr. Suman. The community is great and your patients become your friends and extended family.”
Gopal also said that CGH is a great organization to work with. They strive for excellence in patient care and they always keep up with latest equipment and technology.
He says he is looking forward to traveling, spending time with family and friends and hopes to do volunteer work.
