CGH Health Foundation to host April 9 Silent Auction, Bake Sale, Dessert Auction, Penny Raffle (4-2-2014)
You may find the perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift basket at the Wednesday, April 9 Silent Auction and Bake Sale, hosted by the CGH Health Foundation. The much-anticipated annual event runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CGH Medical Center in the Lobby, Ryberg Auditorium and Classrooms 1 and 2 and is open to the public. Running simultaneously is a Dessert Auction and Penny Raffle. Over 80 bakers will be sharing their culinary delights. Get there early for the best selection. Winners of the Penny Raffle will be drawn at 3:30 p.m. There are 20 possible prizes, including a handmade wreath, wine basket, Uncle Woody’s popcorn basket, gift certificates and more.

Ink Storm Tattoo hosting Cancer Ribbon Day (10-28-2013)
Ink Storm Tattoo owner Dan Covell and his fellow tattoo artists will host their second annual Cancer Ribbon Day benefit this Thursday, October 31 from noon to 8 p.m. at their shop at 110 Second Ave., Sterling.

“Strong Women, Strong Bones” Exercise Class to be Offered in Morrison (6-12-2013)
CGH Medical Center’s Community Services Department and the CGH Health Foundation are pleased to announce that the “Strong Women, Strong Bones” class will be held in Morrison for the first time beginning July 8, 2013.

CGH Health Foundation May Day Silent Auction/Bake Sale (4-29-2013)
The CGH Health Foundation is celebrating May 1 by hosting a May Day Silent Auction, Dessert Auction, Bake Sale, Penny Raffle and 50/50 Raffle from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at CGH Medical Center. Festivities will take place in the CGH Lobby, Ryberg and Classrooms 1 and 2.

$360,000 Goal surpassed by CGH Health Foundation (10-5-2012)
CGH Health Foundation donors celebrated reaching and exceeding the $360,000 campaign goal during Thursday’s 25th anniversary Annual Appeal reception. Retiring CGH Medical Center CEO Ed Andersen was also given special recognition during the annual event.

County Market’s Pink Ribbon Campaign for CGH Health Foundation (12-21-2011)
A pink ribbon campaign conducted by Dixon's County Market yielded $3,450 in contributions for the CGH Health Foundation Women’s Cancer Prevention Program.

Throughout the past year, children around the Sauk Valley have related to ten-year-old Phineas Quinn, a curious youngster who loves junk food and hatches a plan to avoid eating vegetables in the children’s book, Who Grew My Soup?
