For moms in their second and third trimesters of pregnancy and their coaches. These classes focus on the physiological changes during pregnancy, fetal development, and the labor and delivery process. Cesarean section is discussed. These four-part classes begin on the first Wednesday of the month (January through November) and continue for the next three Wednesdays. The classes are from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. No charge. Daytime prenatal classes are available monthly on a specific Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with lunch break. Condensed information will be given in prenatal classes.
Bright Beginnings is a one-time class designed for women in the first half of their pregnancy. In the class, there are games and activities to help learn about good nutrition, safety, common discomforts, warning signs, and prenatal development. There are tasty snacks and door prizes!
Preparing siblings (3-10 years of age) for a new baby in their home and family is the main focus of this class. Classes meet the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. No charge.
