Why Mary Was Chosen CGH Employee of the Month
Mary does her job and does it well and with competency and efficiency. This award is for her JOY! She attacks her work with enthusiasm and great good cheer. She greets most of us by name. She even knows what a lot of us like to eat! I have overheard her say to dozens of people, “We’ve got your favorite today!” She makes the simple and humble act of serving a cafeteria meal an act of love and service. Her warmth and friendliness and her unfailing smile make the food taste better! It is evident that she loves her job and treats it as sacred.
