Why Chris Was Chosen CGH Employee of the Month
On July 10, Chris drove an elderly patient’s wife home after her night shift in the ED. It meant so much to them. The wife said, “I just asked the nurse for a number for the cab and she volunteered to take me home if I could wait a few minutes until her shift was over.” The family was very impressed with the caring and compassion they received. Later that same day, while doing callbacks we received another great compliment on Chris’ care. The patient said they asked Chris how much longer it would be before someone could put a splint on them. Even though it was not her patient, Chris did it herself and quickly discharged the patient. They were very grateful. Chris is a real team player.
