I love anything that involves being outside, especially riding horses, hiking & boating. I also have a huge passion for baking/cooking, hoping to someday open my own business. I love seeing new places and trying new foods. I am able to do all these things with my best friend, boyfriend, Ross!

Why Jessica Was Chosen CGH Employee of the Month

Jessica exemplifies the standards of behavior every day she works. The following is just one example of her positive attitude, teamwork, respect and ownership in delivering patient care.
Last month Jessica was called to the ED to start BiPAP for a young man in respiratory distress due to heart failure. He was very scared and refused to put the mask on his face even with his father’s coaching.  Jessica climbed up on the stretcher and sat next to him, earned his trust and explained why he needed to wear the mask. He allowed her to hold it on his face until he got used to it and finally, after 20 minutes, he allowed her to strap it on.  He continued wearing it over his crisis period, allowing the medication a chance to work and avoided the trauma of being placed on a ventilator.  Jessica’s perseverance, patience, and compassion has proved repeatedly to make a difference to the patients she cares for. Thank You Jessica!

Congratulations Jessica!
