Nursing / Healthcare Scholarship Information
CGH Medical Center is committed to supporting individuals who are pursuing a career in the healthcare profession. 

The following academic scholarships are available from CGH Medical Center. The scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and are based on academic standing and financial need. Applications are available through your guidance office, the CGH Marketing Department or by clicking the links below.  All awards are subject to availability of funds.

Scholarship Criteria

• Acceptance in an accredited nursing or healthcare program is required for all scholarships.

• Applicants must live in Whiteside, Lee, Carroll, Ogle or Bureau counties.

• Students pursuing nursing degrees, as well as those pursuing non-nursing, healthcare-related degrees/licenses (such as EMT/Paramedic licenses) can apply to the John Kellen, Sterling Rock Falls Community Trust, Marrietta Lilly and CGH Auxiliary Scholarships.

• Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

• GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale overall or equivalent.

• Completed application must be submitted by the deadline.
