"We pay special tribute to the late radiologist Dr. Surjit Hermon, whose dream it was to bring a state-of-the-art breast ultrasound scanner to the hospital," said Jan and Marty. Along with the new breast MRI that CGH has recently added, the technology that will be available for our patients will be second to none, according to Medical Division Chair Dr. Thomas McGlone, who is one of 75 surgeons nationwide certified to perform breast ultrasound. "No matter what the level of diagnostics that is required, we will have the full complement of options," he said.
