| Laboratory
Our accredited clinical laboratories include the hospital lab, the Main Clinic laboratory, Dixon Health Center's lab, the Morrison Health & Vision Center lab, and the Rock Falls Health Center lab.
Testing is performed in Allergen Testing, Clinical Chemistry/Special Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Microbiology/Virology, and Urinalysis. These clinical areas are supported by a comprehensive Laboratory Information System (LIS) which provides sophisticated data handling capabilities and links the LIS to the clinic's information system.
All of the clinic's laboratories have full licensure by the Illinois Department of Public Health, are accredited by COLA, a national healthcare accreditation organization, and operate in strict compliance with CLIA '88 federal regulations. All laboratories participate in extensive quality assurance proficiency testing survey programs provided through the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the American Proficiency Institute (API).
